Welcome to Hietasaaren Seelari!
Hietasaaren Seelari is a seaside restaurant and event venue located in the marina of the Oulun Työväen Pursiseura (Oulu Workers’ Sailing Club).
Our 2025 experience café season runs until September 13th, and the next summer season will start again in spring 2026.
A warm thank you to everyone who visited Seelari this summer!
We organize parties, corporate events, and various private functions all year round!

We’ll be open:
Fri 12 Sep: 3.30pm-8pm
Sat 13 Sep: 11am-3:30pm
From October onwards, we are available for bookings for meetings and celebrations!
Any changes to opening hours will be announced here on our website and on social media.
You can reach us by road, along pedestrian and cycling paths, or by water. During the summer season, we’re open daily and offer delightful café treats, tasty dishes from our summer menu, and refreshing drinks. Our restaurant is fully licensed to serve alcohol. Here you’ll find a spacious seaside patio as well as a smaller terrace that basks beautifully in the evening sun. Both terraces and the restaurant have step-free, accessible entry. Pets are also warmly welcome!

Celebrations & Meetings
Our bright and spacious restaurant has room for a maximum of 100 people. In the summer, our large and partially covered terrace provides flexibility for organizing large parties. The dining area is surrounded by large windows, which offer stunning views of the sea and the city. Our restaurant is licensed to serve alcohol.
Our smaller private dining space, which can accommodate around 12 people, is perfect for meetings and smaller gatherings. You can also continue your evening at Seelari’s sauna facilities!
