Sustainability
For us, the word “sustainability” encompasses all aspects of responsibility.
Environmental responsibility in our company is built on values and practices that prioritize and protect the environment.
Social responsibility means acting fairly and equally in all aspects of our business — toward our staff, customers, and partners alike.
In our operations, many practices — such as prioritizing local products — support both environmental and social responsibility.
At our company, sustainability also includes cultural and economic responsibility, as well as a commitment to quality and safety. We have been awarded the Ekokompassi – certificate by the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation and the Sustainable Travel Finland label by Visit Finland. In addition, we are part of the LGBTQ+ friendly travel network and have been granted the Welcome Cyclist badge.

Our sustainability promise
1. You are welcome just the way you are! We treat everyone equally. We don’t tolerate any kind of discrimination.
2. We are aware of the environmental impacts of our operations and strive to minimize the harm. We have been awarded the Ekokompassi -certificate by the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation.
3. We want to make an impact and share good things, that’s why we annually donate 0.50e per person from all team competition products sold, as well as kayaking and whitewater rafting, to important causes. The funds raised from water activities are donated to the water protection work of the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation, and the funds raised from team competitions are donated to the Oulu Region Mental Health Association and to the friends’ activities of the Oulu branch of the Finnish Red Cross. Donations are made annually in January.
4. We support, encourage and work together with our staff. We strive to ensure that everyone can shine with their own strengths.
5. We are developing ourselves in the field of sustainability. We are working on the Sustainable Travel Finland program (STF), which includes continuous monitoring and development of our own operating methods.
